Remember when you were little and you constantly
slipped, tripped, and dropped things?
Remember how all the adults said you’d grow out of it eventually?
Well, at the ripe ol’ age of 27, I can’t seem to shake my accident-prone ways. Over the years, I’ve acquired quite the collection…I have ACE wraps, slings, physical therapy bands, and who knows how many bottles of expired pain meds.
But none of that will work to remedy my latest spill…
A few days ago, Big Bertha tried to fly…
From a tabletop.
Her form was all wrong.
And she forgot her Redbull.
And now, by beloved DSLR is soon to rest in a better place.
We had an amazing two years together.
We visited places we’d never been, captured things we’ve never seen, and had one heck of a time in the #foodporn business. 😉
RIP Big Bertha.
But don’t fret! If Bertha were here right now, she’d want us to celebrate…

Lucky for you, not only am I accident prone, but I am also VERY absent-minded. So while I’m not snapping away at some luscious cakes right now, I do have some backup for ya!
You see, I’d forgotten that I already toyed around with the of pan-COOKIE idea
last October. THEN, two months later, I forgot AGAIN and posted the same recipe with different ingredients/measurements.
I know, I’m thinking there may be some blonde hiding under all this red! 😉

Oh I am so sorry to hear about your camera 🙁 Mine has been broke for over a month now, I need to go get it looked at. It is just shooting blurry, I tried everything and it won’t work.
Maybe Santa will bring you a new camera? I think so!

And you are not the only accident prone person. My mom has an example that she uses to always describe my clumsiness. There was one time I tripped over my feet 3 times during one walk through our living room….it gets the best of us..
Aww, that makes me feel better! Tripping over your own feet is the worst though…nothing/no one to blame but yourself! Haha!
Ack! Sorry to hear about your camera! 🙁 I’ve caught the strap of mine on countless things since I’ve had it, and all would have ended pretty badly had I not managed to catch it in the last second. One of these days I probably won’t be so lucky though. So yeah, you’re definitely not the only one who’s accident prone – we’re not even going to talk about how much of a beating my phone goes through.
Oh yeah…I forgot you do have that fancy “spider web” app on your phone! 😉 Nice matrix skills! I really need to work on my moves so I can save myself some grief in the future. I found one of the CUTEST plates at TJ Maxx a couple of weeks ago and was all ready to debut it for Pancake Sunday…I washed it, dried it, and as I was carrying it to the counter….CRASH!! Yep, a million tiny pieces. I couldn’t take it. I walked away. It was an hour later before I was able to clean up the mess! Lol

Girl we may as well be the same person. I’m SO clumsy and accident prone and I swear I’ll have full on Alzheimer’s by 30…
I may not be able to help the fact that I’m a total clutz-burger, but I’ve tried EVERYTHING when it comes to my memory…games, puzzles, vitamins…I just can’t ever REMEMBER to stick with it every day! Lol
Poor camera!!! If you haven’t alrady found one, I know of a way to get a camera on the cheap…

Ahh I’m so sorry about your camera! It’s too bad dropping them isn’t covered under warranty. 😛 I had to get a new camera a few months ago after dropping it too. But now I have a wrist strap for it and I make sure to use it every time!
I know, right? I seriously jumped at the chance to buy the Geek Squad protection plan for my phone when I bought it from Best Buy…as soon as they told me it covered accidental damage, I was like, “SIGN ME UP!” Lol
I might just duct tape the next one to my hand!
