A Weekend Beyond WORLDS!

Happy Monday, loverlies!

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! If you caught Friday’s post, then you know I was feeling a bit rebellious and kept a couple of exciting things from you. But today? Today is all about the reveal…and a MARVELOUS reveal it will be! πŸ˜€

ATL Roadtrip 1

It started with a trip through the Tennessee mountains…

ATL Roadtrip 2

As I drove further and further south, little bits of spring were popping up everywhere! Can you spot the red bud trees?

Coffee

It was such an incredible view that I almostΒ didn’t notice the blatant act of tauntingΒ going on in front of me. Well played Pilot, well-played!

But WHERE was I going?

Sweet & Sour Soup with Shrimp - ATL

Well, I thought I had literally stepped foot in Vietnam once I tasted this out-of-this-world sweet and sour soup with tamarind, shrimp, and elephant ear shoots. Did you even know you could eat those…I didn’t! They’re delicious…kinda like celery but sweeter!

Chocolate Dulce De Leche

But we can’t forget the moment where I was seduced by a tall, dark, and handsome chocolate Argentinian lover!

Rice & Corn Crisps

Right before scooting on over to “crispy”Β Korea

Belgium Beer

Then I was carried away by BelgianΒ elves…

Bread & Oil & Wine at No246 ATL

Who somehow got me lost in Italy

Wine - Cheers

Where I finally found my friends…

Or more specifically, MY BLENDS!

Yep, that’s right, my spontaneous streak came out yet again! After hearing Sarah was going to be popping into Atlanta over her spring break and knowing that Laura would be in FULL hostess with the MOSTEST mode, I started entertaining the idea of tagging along this weekend. Then once I found out Sarena was going to be making a grand appearance, well, my bag was already packed!

We wined, we dined, and we wined some more πŸ˜‰ and we had the MOST fun…even when we LITERALLY sweated our booties off at glute camp on Saturday morning!

Workout with my Blends in ATL - Booty Shot

See? All gone!Β

But seriously, one of the BEST workouts I’ve had in forever with ladies who not only motivate me, but inspire me as well!

But it wasn’t just about the eating, the shopping, and our glowing glutes. It was about connecting and REconnecting, sharing our passions, being adventurous, cracking “that’s what she said” jokes, and agreeing to do a hardcore cleanse after one too many bottles glasses bottles of wine! 😯

If you could live ANYWHERE in the world, where would it be?

What did you do this weekend?

  1. I think you know EXACTLY what I did this weekend! It was so good seeing you my friend! I hope you have an incredible week! xoxo

  2. You inspire ME! I love that you came down and joined the party. Next time it’s going to be sunny and we’ll spend more of it outside of a bar. LOL! I still need a nap… mwah!

  3. haha I love the booty pic! That is too cute. Right now, I’d just want to live somewhere warm!

  4. Ah looks like a blast! Wine with girlfriends is never a bad idea πŸ™‚ I am too indecisive to choose just one place to live- so for today let’s say somewhere warm and tropical-ish? Yes let’s go with that today.

  5. Wow, you’re quite the traveler πŸ˜‰ hehe Really though, I’m jealous!!! Especially about getting to visit with Sarah!!!

  6. What a great weekend! I just spent last weekend IN the TN mountains and loved every second of it. My dream in life is to live in Colorado OR the beach. Either will work just fine !

  7. Spontaneous trips are the best! Especially when they involve seeing friends. πŸ˜€

This weekend I actually did something similar – I took a little trip to my old stomping grounds where I went to school to reunite with some of my old roommates for a night out on the town! Which soon turned into a night IN once we got downtown and realized the lines were 1.5 hours long haha.

Oh gosh! Well, in the case of catching up with old friends, I’m always one to prefer nights in anyway! πŸ™‚

  8. purelytwins says:

great group of ladies right there πŸ˜‰

  9. So.darn.JEALOUS! Why oh why do I have to live in a place where no blogger will venture? I feel like a loner up here in Alberta. But at least Blend is a mere two months away and I can give some of you guys the biggest hug ever πŸ˜€

  10. Oh I want to be there with you!! Looks like so much fun!!
I had a similar weekend – I was at my brother’s in the Swiss Alps, BUT I only wined (waaaayyyy too much), not so much food (too lazy) and no workout at all – hold on, I DANCED 2 nights away!
San Diego! Warm and Ocean and Whole Foods!! πŸ™‚

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Oh heck yes! Dancing is the BEST kind of workout as far as I’m concerned! That’s what our night was missing! Ahhh, warmth and the ocean…I’m coming with you!

  11. Mh, yes, and you still want to make me believe you didn’t like chocolate, girl?! I don’t think so. Where did you say I could find myself one of those [chocolate] Argentinian lovers again πŸ˜‰ ?!
Okay, I think we talked about the weekend enough already so you know my answers to the questions.

  12. Eric says:

Colorado or Utah somewhere next to the mountains! I’d take my bike out to the hills during the warm months and snowboard during the cold ones!

Plus I could get my medical card maaaaaaaaaan πŸ˜‰

  14. Looks like a fun weekend! Who needs a cleanse after finishing two bottles of wine?? Wine is packed with antioxidants, so it is good for you, right?! πŸ™‚

  15. Oh how I would love to visit Atlanta. Umm, if I ever go there, care to show me around? πŸ˜‰
I really want to do a blend meet up someday. They look like so much fun!

    • kissmybroccoli says:

You let me know when doll and I’ll BE THERE! So much to see…and even more to eat! You’d love it!

  16. Cassie says:

I love the promises of a cleanse after one too many bottles of wine haha… I would live in Hawaii if I could live anywhere. I just need to get up the courage to move!

  17. I say instead of a cleanse, y’all just need a little bit of the hair of the dog that bit you. πŸ˜‰

I’m actually on my own sort of non-deliberate cleanse this week. I bought kale…at Costco. A pound and half to be exact and the Man wouldn’t take any so yeah, I’m rocking some super fly kale smoothies with some extra kale. I imagine I’ll be as clean as a whistle before the week is done.

I am so glad you had such a great time. It looked like a complete blast. Laura certainly is the hostess with the mostess. If and when I make my way down there, you better turn up too.

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Oh you bet your sweet kale-loving ass I’ll be there…with BELLS ON, BABY!

Ugh, hair of the dog…I STILL can’t think of stomaching red wine! 😯

  19. Hahaha that stupid truck. The caffeine Gods are just trying to grind your gears!

I’m loving this spontaneous Heather streak- Not only is it good for the soul, but I find breaking out of routine can be so effective in other facets of our day to day life!

Anywhere in the World? NYC-> San Fran -> Toronto -> London and if all that fails, ANYWHERE IN THE US WHICH WILL GIVE ME A GREEN CARD!

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Oh my gosh, ain’t it the TRUTH?! And please, you mean to tell me the #foodbloggerpimp can’t find himself a ‘merican to marry? πŸ˜‰

  20. oh i’m still so jealous i didn’t get to join!!!! xoxo

  21. Sounds like a fantastic weekend! πŸ™‚ Great to see all you ladies hanging out having fun πŸ™‚

Go anywhere in the world? I’d love to go back to Croatia. Krka Falls is damn amazing and would love to swim there again and explore more.
