What is up my frizzands?! I hope you all had a great Monday! I did NOT have to go to work today and spent the majority of the day outside enjoying the lovely weather!…sorry I’m not sorry!
WAIT! Don’t leave! I’ll show you pictures?!
Today, I went to meet HEAB at the farmer’s market in Nashville. Before I left, I needed to fix something for lunch and could NOT seem to get yesterday’s PB and carob combo (seems I’m not the only one who’s a fan of the c-pod!) out of my head! Sooooo, I whipped up a little sumthin, sumthin…
That would be Heaven…on a plate!
Oh, I’m sorry, did you need a closer look?
That my friends would be a big daddy sweet potato over”flowing” with Greek yogurt, crunchy peanut butter, and carob chips all sprinkled with a little cinnamon.
Did you know that when an angel flaps her wings, cinnamon dust stirs up?
Anyway, where was I? Oh yeah…Farmer’s Market…HEAB…yes, yes, yes that’s where I was going!
Is it just me or are the asparagus stalks marching around the tomatoes?
Just me? Sorry.
Anyone care for a peanut…or two…or 800?
We had such a great time perusing all the stands, catching up, and talking photography. That’s right, Heather just got her first DSLR from Santa…yeah, he was a bit late!
Right CD? 😉
And of course any chance I get to pinch these little cheeks is fine with me!
Aren’t her blue eyes gorgeous? I swear close up they look like granite!
Well, I’m off to see what all I missed in blogworld today! Have a great night and a happy Tuesday!
P.S. Did you notice the new header? The fantastically artistic Jenn of Peas & Crayons created it and gave me a fantastic deal! Shoot her an email if you’re interested having some P&C art of your own! I’m sure she’d be more than happy to help!
What do you top your sweet potato with?
My next mission is to try Holly’s avocado and banana combo! Sounds delicious!
That sweet potato looks amazing — the waterfall of yogurt — holy delicious!!!
And you got to see HEAB and Summer!!! Those cheeks! What a cutie.
You will not be disappointed in the banana/avocado/sweet potato combo. Thanks for the link back!
You’re welcome! Can’t wait to try it!
Looks like an awesome carob-filled day. Jealous!
Mmm! Yesterday you indpired me to put carob powder in ice cream and…IT WAS THE BEST DECISION EVER! I can’t have carob chips due to the barley aka gluten but the powder in ice cream tasted SO good! It was not bitter but tasted like frozen chocolate and something else really good i can’t place my finger on!! TRY IT!
Heather and heather are both gorgeous! 😉
and so is baby summer!
That DOES sound good! I used to always like nestle quick powder on my ice cream! I’ll have to give it a shot!
OH! AND i’m in love with the new header 🙂
I love that header!
I also love the Nashville Farmer’s Market, my hubs and I had a great time there on our visit to Nashville!
Sweet potatoes for breakfast are a staple around these parts 😉
oh YUM that tater looks divine…
great photo of you two pretty girls, and sweet little Summer! what a fun day!!
Love that header, amazing! And that is one freaking delicious looking tatter 😛
ohmygosh adoooooooorable!!!!! Glad you had mucho fun with HEAB at the farmer’s market! <3

Great Header! Glad you had the day off, soaked up the sun and enjoyed time with your sissy yesterday! Have a splendid week!
How did you score such a pretty day off? I love the farmers market! I am jealous!
Haha! Just lucky I guess! And the traffic coming home wasn’t even bad at all! 🙂
nice! I commented with Jennifer J…and now replying with Jenny! Anyways! Glad you had fun!
OK, 3rd photo of the sweet potato is gorgeous Heather. They all are, but that third one in particular is so pretty – with the pool of yogurt. Love…want…now. 🙂
Had such a good time just hanging out, and I really should go to the Farmer’s Mkt. more often. I’m about to email you my photo of us together from my camera. CRACKING me up. Every time I look at it, I hear the phrase, “she only has eyes for you”. Haha – Summer was mesmerized by you. Too funny.
Glad you enjoyed your day. Gotta soak in all this sun as it’s supposed to rain a lot this week. Ahhh, Nashville in the spring. Gotta love it.
Thanks girlie…and when we were talking earlier about how many shots it normally takes? Yeah, this time, there were only 3! I couldn’t wait any longer…that yogurt was drawing me in! 😉 haha!
Too funny! I didn’t even notice till I uploaded my pics that she actually looked up for the one with my camera! She is the cutest!
AWWWEEE! Summer is so cute! 😀 She is so photogenic! 🙂 You are so lucky to live so close to Heather (HEAB). I love that you both have the same name. 🙂 I love my Heathers! 😀
My, oh my, your sweet potato is overflowing with delicousness! It looks so good I almost thought it was dessert. I’m glad you enjoyed your lovely day off :), especially since you got to spend it with HEAB and Summer (who is absolutely adorable!)
Have a lovely day!
Sister, it’s totally crazy how you create just what I would’ve. I, too, recently had a tater just like that– foodgasmic much, huh? 🙂 You should definitely try sweet taters and avocado…. SO darn good! 🙂
I’m so darn jealous you got to meet- up with HEAB– how fun indeed! JUst think it I was there, too, what fun we’d have! 🙂
Oh girlie, we’d have had a BALL for sure!
You are killing me with the photo of that sweet potato! I showed it to my sister (a recent sweet potato convert) and even she was intrigued 🙂
Haha! Very nice!
That sweet potato is outrageous. I want it, now 🙂
this might be an incredibly stupid question, but how do you make that amazing looking baked potato concoction? i’ve never experimented with sweet potatoes before but i so want to try now! do you bake it in the oven? or the microwave?
That’s not a stupid question at all Sheila! Usually, I bake my sweet potatoes at 425 (just pop em in the oven on a baking sheet) for about 30-45 minutes (depends on the size). You know it’s done when you can press on it and it gives a little or when you can easily pierce it with a fork.
This time, I was in a bit of a hurry so I went with my go-to quick microwave method: Wrap your tater in plastic wrap and throw it in the oven for 5-7 minutes (again depending on the size). Now this way of cooking is great in a pinch, but the skin doesn’t get crisp like it does when it’s baked. If that’s no big deal for you…then feast away, but I think the crispness is one of my favorite parts so I just took it out of the microwave, unwrapped it, and put it under low broil for about 10 minutes…voila! Crispy sweet potato goodness!
anything you put on a plate always looks like heaven!! THe Heablet is just too stinking cute!
COngrats on a the lovely header. ITS AWESOME!
Awww, Linds you are so sweet! Thank you!
Love the new header!! And that sweet potato? Holy cow. I’ll bill the new keyboard to you, mm’kay? 😉
Looks like you had an awesome time at the farmer’s market with Heather!! I’m pretty sure there’s no better place to meet; and those asparagus are totally marching around the tomatoes.
Sweet potatoes: I love just baking them in wedges and dipping them in BBQ sauce! Or tossing them with honey and olive oil and eating them plain.
Thanks girlie! And hey, I don’t think you saw my tweet yesterday, but if you email me your address, I’ll get that jam to you ASAP so you can taste it’s utter deliciousness (and I’ll even throw a new keyboard in the box)! 😉
Your whole day sounds fun! I love farmers markets.
My favorite sweet potato topping is some sort of nut butter.
LOVE your header! 🙂
And so fun to see my two favorite Heathers together! Summer is PRECIOUS!
I love tahini on sweet potatoes (with a titch of cayenne). And beans are a staple topping as well!
I’ve tried baked beans before, but that was still more of a sweet meal…I need to try more savory combos!
Love, love, love carob chips. That pototo looks amazing! Very creative.
The other day I had the “put peanut butter on your sweet potato” epiphany. I am pretty sure it is a turning point in life. I paired my pb and sp with some usc (unsweetened shredded coconut). Had I some coconut butter, I probably would have put a tad of that in there for more coconut taste. AND, I think I’ll put some chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans) for crunch, or maybe toasted buckwheat groats. And, I thought about putting some sliced banana in there too…. now I have just gotten carried away with myself, but that would be a pretty dang good meal.
PS. I agree, those asparagus do look like they are on a mission to protect and defend the tomatoes from people who squeeze too hard.
Girl, you seriously have me salivating! Haha! And the toasted buckwheat groats? Over the top! That WOULD be an amazing meal!
loving this post…and that breakfast? ummmmmmmmmm can i get summa that? NOWWW haha
I had almost the same thing for breakfast last week, SO GOOD!!!!
Great minds think alike! 😉
So jealous you got to meet Heather and Summer!!
I love greek yogurt or black beans and salsa on my sweet potatoes. But yours looks prettttty dang good!
Oh wow! I almost always go the sweet direction with my sweet p’s…I really need to try more savory combos. Yours sounds delish!
Woah, that sweet potato combo looks amazing! Party in your mouth I bet? 😉
I think I’d have pinched Summer and made for the Border if I met up with HEAB! hehe

I’ve never tried banana and avocado, but it was my 3 year old’s favorite combo when I used to make his baby food 🙂
That’s a kiddo who knows his stuff! Haha!
Congrats on your new camera! I’ve had mine for about 4 months now and I’m STILL learning! Trial and error, ya know?
Yep! Too bad he is the world’s pickiest eater right now!!!
Oh yeah, total trial and error!
Your sweet potato looks sinful! Yum!
So cool you got to meet Heather and Summer! omg she is adorable as ever!!!!
Haha I actually laughed out loud about the asparagus marching around the tomatoes! You are not alone, I thought the same thing; dancing though – I prefer to think of the asparagus as dancing some festive latin dancing around the tomatoes haha
Haha! Dancing yes…and to Latin music…double yes! Love it!
sweet potatoes for bfast-jealous!
I only have a farmers market for 2 months a year, ugh…i’ve got another 2 months to wait too!

Ahhh I want that sweet potato now! Looks fantastic! That is awesome you got to meet Summer and Heather. Summer is almost too cute for words!!
That header totally rules… but of course it does when made by the loveliest Jenn! Her artistic talents know no bounds!! I you know how much I enjoy my Heather Squared meetups… the farmer’s market lends some great picture taking opportunities. I hope someday for an H2C meetup. 😉
Heather Squared! That totally made me giggle! Love you gal! Hope you are having a great week so far…at least Monday’s over, right? The rest of the week should feel like a piece of cake after your jam-packed Mondays!
