Spookalicious

Hey hey hey!

Well, it’s that time of week again…

Time to break out the party hats and noise makers scary masks and rubber knives and celebrate our last Halloween-themed WIAW in style!

After you get a look at my spook-tacular eats, head on over to Peas & Crayons, no tricks, now…she may not have any candy, but I’m sure she can spare a few Scarrots! πŸ˜‰

I woke up Sunday morning feeling great…

Even BETTER after a cup of my new DECAF chocolate raspberry coffee!

But, there was something funny about this cup.

Because by the time I finished cooking breakfast, I had started to get these sores all over my body…

I lost my ability to speak…

I started dragging my right leg behind me as I walked…

And all of a sudden I had this intense craving…

For pumpkin-flavoredΒ brains and BLOOD!

And apparently, peanut butter…who know the two could go so well together! πŸ˜‰

Then, while I was prepping my breakfasts for the week, I decided to whip up a bowl of warm stringyΒ cobwebs!

But what to top them with?

How about eyeballs, batwings, and a side of zombie skin?

Oh yeah, that’s the ticket!
…to a nice big room with padded walls.

Though I have to say the skin was probably my favorite part!

Later on I found myself feeling snacky…

First, I went for some baby fingers.

You better not lay a finger on my Butterfinger baby fingers!

Apparently, they’d been eating a lot of pumpkin.

But while they were good and crunchy, I still felt hungry for more…

So I grabbed a bag ofΒ vampire fangs and went to town!

For dinner, I decided to round out the day with a big salad…

Topped with braaaaaaains, witches nails, and some richΒ imported Italian blood!

Once I finished my bowl, I finally started to feel like myself again…or so I thought.

My leg started to feel a bit better…

And not only could I form words, but honestly, I had the strangest urge to SING!

‘Cause this is thriller, thriller night
And no one’s gonna save you from the beast about strike
You know it’s thriller, thriller night
You’re fighting for your life inside a killer, THRILLER tonight!

Β HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

What spookalicious eats have you had lately?

What’s your favorite Halloween treat?

  1. Heather. Slowly step away from the Pic Monkey… LOL!

I was laughing in my bowl of asparagus reading this. Until I got to the last pic and actually chocked on the asparagus. I need the Heimlich! Do you know the maneuver? πŸ˜‰

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Oh I know! I can cutesy cartoon ones, but put me in the same room with even the smallest of spiders and I’ll swear it’s 10 feet tall…and I’ll cry for my mama! Lol

Hahah! This is the best halloween post I’ve seen today!!

Chocolate raspberry coffee? They should call it “red velvet” coffee, because that’s what it sounds it would taste like! Yum!

    Happy wiaw, Heather!!

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Aww, thanks love! And yes, I was totally sucked in by the coffee…I could smell the chocolate and raspberry through the bag and my mouth started watering instantly. Unfortunately, it’s not as chocolate-y or as raspberry-y as it smells, but still delish!

  10. Kat says:

Girl, you can come over for as many meals as you like! We single gals gotta stick together! Plus, who else could appreciate our unorthodox use of sauerkraut and our love of bugs? πŸ˜‰

  17. lol! You are awesome! That blood on your brains looks delicious! hahaha

  18. Haha omigosh I loved this; although I’m not gonna lie… the ‘skin’ totally skeeved me out and I may or may not have gagged just a little πŸ˜† And you’re looking a little tired there, hun… Might be time to get some rest, and a little Neosporin probably wouldn’t hurt either πŸ˜‰

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Hahaha! Well, I tried to go the pharmacy, but when I tried to ask the pharmacist for the best remedy, he ran away screaming! So weird….

And actually, the skin kinda got to me too! Lol
