Could you sub out the peaches for pumpkin puree? Since it is fall, thought maybe this would be good.

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Are you referring to the Peaches ‘n Cream parfait? If so, then yes, you could use just about ANY fruit (or veggie) puree…and pumpkin would be GREAT for fall! 😀

Could you sub out the peanut flour by PB2 or another flour?

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Peanut flour and PB2 can be used interchangeably, but it would depend on the recipe if you wanted to use another type of flour? Which one are you looking at making?

For the pumpkin cornbread, could olive oil be used in place of coconut? I usually have coconut oil around the house (LOVE IT) but haven’t gotten around to getting more. Would olive oil give the bread a funny taste?

    • kissmybroccoli says:

No, feel free to use olive oil in place of coconut! With the spices used in this recipe, I doubt you’d be able to taste a difference at all! 😀

  47. Alexus says:

On the red velvet mug cake can you sub the coconut flour?

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Honestly, I’ve only tried the recipe with coconut flour and peanut flour, both of which are highly absorbent ingredients. You could try to sub in a regular flour, but you would have to add at least double the amount (and that’s just a guess…just have to play with measurements and see if it works). Let me know if you give it a try. I’d love to hear what you think!
