Flatout Good & Feelin’ Jazzy

It’s no secret…

Wrap Collage

I am a HUGE fan of Flatout wraps!

So when the company contacted me a few weeks ago asking if I would help in their new Flatout Flatbread Good Grilling Promotion, you can only BEGIN to imagine my excitement…for the record, lots of jazz hands were involved. 😉

The point of this exciting promotion is to tell you guys all about Flatout’s newest line. They’re not just wrappin’ it UP these days, they’re rollin’ it OUT too…

With FLATBREADS in four tasty varieties:
Rustic White, Heritage Wheat, Rosemary & Olive Oil,  and Spicy Italian!

Last week, I received a VERY gracious package…

FlatOut Flatbreads Package

And again, MANY jazz hands were involved! 😉

Armed with my giftcard and about a bajillion ideas for possible pizza creations, I headed to my local Walmart*!

*I was THISCLOSE to wearing the new snazzy apron they sent me, but opted not to be in the next upload to People of Walmart! 😉

Flatout WalmartFlatout wraps and flatbreads can be found in the bakery department! 🙂

Now, I’ll be honest with you guys…there was no amount of jazz hands that could save me from my sleep-deprived state last week. Seriously, the only thing I could manage to stomach was dry cereal and eggs which totally bummed me out because when I first agreed to do this promotion, I had dreams of whipping up some extravagant
veggie-loaded CHEESY goodness!

But THENNNNNN…

I had an eggpiphany…oh and I just happened to be catching up with a girl who KNOWS a thing or two about cheese…and eggs! 😀

  1. So many delcious ideas here for lunches, yum!

  2. Those wrap breads look good. I wonder if they will firstly be coming to Australia and secondly be doing a gluten/wheat free version!

  3. Eggs on a pizza? That sounds epic. Maybe even egg-pic. Haha!

  4. I looooove flatbreads!! And eggs…..so this is perfect and it even looks so pretty!! And yogurt as topping? Yes please!!

  5. Oh my gosh, I am SO EXCITED to try these. Must. Go. Buy. NOW!

  6. Dear Flatout, please me a version without the sodium. Because I do love you. The. End.

  7. I LOVE flatout and I LOVE the taste of chicago!! I feel like I loved flatout before anyone (well anyone near me) knew what they were. I remember senior year of high school I would eat them every day & I had so much trouble finding them a lot of the time. Now I feel like I see everyone on campus eatin’ them!

  8. I love using ‘regular’ Flat Outs to make pizza…so this is just making the whole pizza prep even easier. 🙂 LOVE your excitement! LOVE the looks of this!

    [That’s a lot of love.]

  9. Looks delicious Heather! I LOVE low calorie pizza options & like to make pizzas out of their Light Italian FlatOut Wraps… sooo good & easy!
So happy you decided not to wear the apron to WalMart… theres enough weirdness floating around in there already, although I’m sure you’d look normal compared some the People of Walmart atrocities… 😉

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Hahahaha! I know right? I would have had to pair it with like rainbow-colored leggings, fuzzy slippers, and a Dr. Seuss hat to even get ONE sideways look! 😉

  10. Lisa says:

All of your food always looks delicious! 🙂

  11. Flatouts make excellent pressed wraps, but I haven’t tried them as a pizza… *yet*

  12. Oh. My. Gosh.!!! That pizza!! It looks SO amazing! I love Flat Out wraps, and I am now SUPER excited to try to find these new ones! Yay :).

  13. That looks AMAZING! i love egg on pizza (especially when the yolk is still really runny) and i make pizza at home all the time but huevos rancheros has never occured to me- this is so brilliant! I’ll have to try flatout!

    • kissmybroccoli says:

I really need to try the runny egg on pizza thing again. I did it once, but accidentally overcooked my egg so it was a little disappointing…boo!

  14. We don’t get Flat Out wraps here in Canada (Boo!) but I picked up a few packages in the US last week! I haven’t had a chance to try them yet because I seem to always have other leftovers to eat lately haha – but I want to try them soon! I didn’t get any of the flatbreads though and now I’m kicking myself. They look like they make an awesome pizza!

  15. calee says:

knowing you like I do, all I have to say is this: did you buy that long platter just for this post? 😉

can’t wait to see you tomorrow!

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Bahahaha! Nope…but I DID buy it for a flatbread pizza I made a few months ago! *raises hands in air* You got me! 😉

  16. Hi Heather. OOOH….I’m a flat out fan of flat outs. (OMG, I did NOT say that. Ok, I did…) We don’t have the pizza/flatbreads here in Canada yet. Hopefully they make their way up here soon. And I’m pretty keen to see the apron too!! Have a great day.

  17. So you know I’m all about my sweet breakfasts, but… hot.dang… I think I’d be willing to give up the cereal, oatmeal, and yogurt bowls to enjoy a pizza like this. I’m a huge fan of using wraps as pizza bases because then you can just load on the toppings and go to town. Buttttt then I have to admit that my sweet tooth wants to kick in big time and go the whole banana/honey/almond butter approach. Would it be wrong to have a wrap for dinner and a wrap for dessert? 😉

  18. Kat says:

You should be an ambassador/spokesperson for any and every company you want, because holy crap now I need to go buy these and make everything you have pictured. Your brilliant my friend.

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Ok…I’ll send you a list of companies (Hello PB Crave, Vitamix, and Bob’s Redmill!) and you can get started on my letter of recommendation! We’ve totally got this in the bag!

PS, you’ll be paid in swag for your efforts! 😉

  19. Yet another company that needs to sell in Canada! I remember picking up Flatout wraps on a trip over the border a few years ago and I really liked them…I love how they have the flatbreads now!

  20. Emily says:

I literally ALWAYS have FlatOut Wraps in my kitchen. They’re a staple for me because they’re so darn versatile! I use them for wraps, quesadillas, pizzas, smeared with peanut butter…you name it, I’ve used them for it. I’m so jealous that you were able to test out their new products! I can’t wait to get my hands on ’em. (:

PS: SO happy to hear that you got some rest and are feeling better this week!

  21. Kammie says:

Love Flatout wraps! So does this mean you’ll be coming to chicago too ;)?

  22. Jessie says:

I just want to jump through this computer screen & eat it all!!!!!

  23. I loveee wraps but only have tried the Flatout variety once before – guess I need to try them again… ASAP 😉

  24. Mom says:

OMG!!!! Let me wipe the drool off my chin! Will you make me a flatbread pizza just like that???!!! I almost licked the computer screen!!

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Haha! Ask and thou shall receive! Just let me know when and I’ll whip one up…with extra love…because I’m out for brownie points I care so much! 😉

  25. nicole says:

i usually top my round tortilla with toppings (including runny eggs!) but i’ll have to try these flat out wraps… a little change of shape 🙂
