Fig & Prosciutto Cheese Toast

Soon to be known as your favorite non-recipe recipe! 🙂

I’ve debated for over two months whether to share this recipe on the blog or not. It goes against many food blogger standards in the way that a.) there aren’t actually any specific measurements and b.) the only two pictures I have I took with my phone. and c.) fig season is pretty much over. BUT I’ve seriously dreamt about these babies non-stop since I made them back in September and they’re just too good not to share. And we’ll just ignore the fact that I haven’t posted a recipe in almost six months. Ha!

  1. There was once I thought mozerella balls were mushrooms and ibwas in a buffet linen I grabbed like 10 and the guy behind me kissed his lips and i didn’t understand what was wrong with him, in fact I was annoyed he was so rude, it wasn’t until I bit until my first one until I realized it was cheese and went,

“…oohh…” And fit the puzzles together.

  2. Is it weird that all I can think about is what a great ice cream flavor this would be?

  3. Girrrlll you could have just played it up that today is the start of Fig Week! But you already knew that right? 😉

  4. These have every flavor I could ever want…sweet, salty, savory and garlic! We do a huge spread of appetizers for Christmas Eve every year so I’m always on the hunt for something easy/delicious for a crowd.

I love making crostinis with pesto and feta cheese. Yum 🙂

Ohhh, I’ve never thought to pair pesto and feta. I may just have to try that…I’m pretty sure there’s nothing out there it doesn’t go well with! #fetamakeseverythingbetta 😉

  5. Oh no.. I think I would eat about a million of these ;D

  6. I love non-recipe recipes. And this one looks AMAAAAAZING. Putting it on the list for Thanksgiving appetizers ;).

  7. Non Recipes are the best! My Non Recipe is Flaky Pastry rolled with spanish smoked ham and baked in the oven. Probably no nutrients at all, but oh sooooo good!
