  1. I’m not a procrastinator, but I do work better under pressure. Weird, yes. The frozen fig sounds great. Figs are just amazing. So sweet, so much fiber!
I can’t wait to see Breaking Dawn and speaking of all things tween, are you watching Gossip Girl this season? Things have gotten really crazy…like jump the shark crazy…
Have a great weekend, and safe travels.

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Ugh, I’m still stuck on season…six? The one where they started college. I can’t decide if I really like it or if I’m just intentionally killing brain cells. πŸ˜‰

“So sweet, so much fiber” <- only you would put those two things together! LOl

      • What sweet and fiber don’t go hand in hand. Damn, all these years wasted.
If you are really waffling on GG, you might want to abandon it now. I’m debating bouncing on the whole show, but I think this might be the last season and my OCD won’t let me stop until it’s done. For better or worse, I’m locked in now.

  2. Totally stealing this survey! If I was there, I would steal those egg cups. πŸ™‚

I cannot WAIT to see you guys this weekend!!!

  3. You’re coming to Atlanta! Yay, the weather should be great this weekend too!

I never thought to freeze figs…genius! I’m totally doing that! Have a safe trip Heather!

  4. Kelsey says:

OMG! I cannot stand most tween Disney shows, but I get sucked into Good Luck Charlie every time! It is so funny! I love PJ! I am 25 and have been known to sit and watch a 3 hour Good Luck Charlie marathon!

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Hahaha! Love it! Now I don’t feel so bad for staying at the gym a bit longer JUST to finish watching the show! πŸ˜‰

  5. I SO wish I could be with y’all this weekend…I did look up plane tickets but they were just way too expensive for me right now. πŸ™

On the bright side, I now need to hunt down a fig and freeze it.

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Oh I KNOW! Plane tickets right now are OUTRAGEOUS! I swear we really need to start working on some kind of blogger teleportation device…it could be powered by Nutty Butter! πŸ˜‰

  6. I’m such a procrastinator… I’m the queen of it! I have to admit… I’m a bit jealous over your nashville meet up. πŸ˜‰

  7. I am SO GLAD you commented [and have a love for pancakes too haha] because I have been following you on IG for the past few weeks and think all of your eats are phenomenal!

P.S. Cereal breakfast wraps are absolutely delish!

  8. Kendra says:

Haha, I read the whole Twilight series, but thought they weren’t exactly the best-written books–also, I think Bella’s character was VERY flat and didn’t have much depth to it. And the first couple movies, in my opinion, were even worse…I gave up after the second or third one:D The fig bar looks delicious; the last thing I ate was the last slice of my vegan carrot cake that my parents got me for my 19th birthday–it was purchased at Whole Foods but was technically baked at the Chicago Diner. It was SO delicious!! I am generally not a procrastinator; if anything, I like to get things done ahead of schedule:)

    • kissmybroccoli says:

I’ve always wanted to be that kind of person…the seemingly more responsible girl that has time to check things twice, but unfortunately, I work extremely well under pressure and the procrastination just gets positive reinforcement! Whenever I DO have something done ahead of time, I almost feel like I should get a reward…a pat on the back…or maybe even a cookie! Lol

I thought the same thing about Bella’s character…and Kristen Stewart is definitely the perfect match for the role, but I actually enjoyed all of the books. And the movies got better by the third one.

Happy belated birthday! I love a good carrot cake!

  9. Why, why, whyyyyy have I still not tried combining teas? Do you just put both bags into one cup and boil them together? If so then I -need- to do this because I have a ridiculous amount of tea to get through and I never seem to make any progress…

And procrastination. Ugh. Story of my life. I’m horrible with leaving things until the last minute because I think I have all the time in the world, and then completely freaking out when I don’t. Unfortunately, things always end up working out, and that kind of reinforcement is -not- helping me break my bad habits…

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Yes ma’am! I usually carry around a pretty big travel mug so it fits enough water for two bags nicely. And I hear it’s downright life changing if you combine Celestial Seasoning’s sugar cookie sleighride with a chai or pumpkin spice! πŸ™‚ Oh, and I know you’re a fan of Davids Tea…have you ever tried the cookie dough flavor? I just saw it online and wondered if it was worth it.

Haha, same thing happens to me when it comes to my procrastination…kinda hard to change your ways when it all works out in the end! Haha!

  10. I want to hang out with you three weirdos!!! πŸ™‚
Oh man- I’ve never had a frozen fig… I’m missing out for sure. And – hold the phone – you combine two flavors of tea too??!! We are soulmates.
My favorite combos: Celestial Seasonings Mandarin Orchard + Mandarin Green tea. Sounds like a lot of orange- but trust me- it’s amazing.
Also- Celestial Seasonings Cookie Sleigh Ride with and Pumpkin spice tea. Or chai. Holy crap.
Just you WAIT til I’m your weirdo pen pal…

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Omg, WHY have I not thought to combine the cookie with chai?! And I have a PUMPKIN chai too! Ahhhhh, I wish I was at home right now so I could make some!

And guess who has YOU next month!! I’ll admit…I already picked you up a few things from the farmer’s market in Atlanta! πŸ˜€ I can’t wait!

  11. Lee says:

Ha! I just posted this same survey!

  12. Good Luck Charlie’s not my favorite Disney show, but I certainly watch it on occasion. πŸ™‚

  13. Jessie says:

I’m completely surprised you had never tried that wrap creation before. I thought for sure you’ve tried it all! &&& uh aren’t Allison’s pancakes amazing? I tried the pb ones for breakfast yesterday. They were like melt in my mouth good!!

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Ok, that’s it…I’M SOLD! Now I just need to get my hands on some peanut butter puffs!

      I know! I can’t believe I haven’t tried the wrap either…on the list…right after those pancakes! πŸ˜‰

  14. Haha I’m really bad at doing regular ab workouts too! I did a few ab exercises yesterday for the first time in weeks and I’m definitely feeling it today! πŸ˜›

Also I think I’m going to bake Amanda’s pumpkin bread today! Every blog I’ve seen it on has said it’s amazing, so I’m so excited to make it!

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Oh yeah, I only did a few ab exercises the other day and now it hurts to laugh! Lol…ouch!

Did you end up making the bread? I keep saying I’m going to make it again, but there are still so many other recipes I’ve yet to try…ohhh, the troubled life I lead! πŸ˜‰

  16. Between nannying and my sister being sick last year, I have seen pretty much every episode of Good Luck Charlie, haha!

I’m actually not a procrastinator at all. I like to get things done well in advance just incase I need time to fix things up. Though, with the visa application – everything was done in a rush as my friends and family procrastinated writing their statements (and I was in a flat panic!) and I madly had to get all of the documents witnessed, certified and sent off in a day πŸ˜›

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Teach me your ways!! I want to be able to have time to “fix things up”! πŸ˜‰ And hey, sounds like you work well under pressure too…I can only imagine how frazzled you were that day though! Legal matters are definitely something I try NOT to procrastinate about!

  17. Haha that show looks weird, I’ve never even heard of it before! Mmmmm those cheesy egg cups look GOOD! I’m a big fan of little frittata muffins, but I try not to make them too much because I’m seriously eat them all, haha πŸ™‚

    • kissmybroccoli says:

Haha, yeah I guess the picture does make the show seem like it would be kind of crazy, but it’s really pretty cute. Charlie is the youngest child in the family, and the eldest videotapes herself teaching her “life lessons” for when she gets older. They have a lot of crazy shenanigans though! Lol
